Mission Consulting provides coaching,
seminars, and assessments to help a company realize its full potential via staff
development. It is led by Thomas A. Habib, Ph.D. who has extensive experience in a variety
of organizations and industries. Services are available to assist individual employees or
the entire organization. They include:
Executive Consultation
Interpersonal relationships
and communication can present the greatest challenge in establishing and maintaining a
productive work environment. Employee relations, staff, partner and board dynamics are
sources of frustration. The executive consultant will diagnose the recurring problems that
face the executive while providing personal coaching. Together we will develop effective
strategies that creatively address the myriad of dynamics in the corporate environment. We
will overcome passive aggressive manipulations by identifying ways to handle hidden
agendas. We will avoid negative competition by promoting team building. We will prevent
apathy and undermining behaviors by encouraging loyalty and commitment. We will prevent
sexual harassment and stress claims by increasing managerial effectiveness. This
consultation is typically one-on-one on site or away from the office. Telephone
consultations are available. All communication is absolutely confidential and discreet.
Coaching will take into account personal styles and individual preferences of the
executive.
Management Coaching
Often times a company finds
itself dependent upon the capabilities of a valued employee who has difficulty with
communication and other interpersonal skills. Frequently this person is indispensable to
the companys mission. However, aspects of their style are a continuing source of
difficulty. We are adept in beginning a dialogue with this person in a non-threatening,
low key style. We will work individually with managers to improve interactions between
themselves and employees. Many companies have identified our consultants as
"communication consultants" or other similar titles that are more easily
accepted. In some instances, we have entered the workplace to "study company
communication patterns", an entree that allows us to ease into the coaching
relationship.
The Employee Line
A confidential telephone or Internet
call-in service for employees and management to resolve conflict and to promote a
productive work environment. Employees and management are invited to call for a brief
discussion with a management coach with questions about a fellow employee, a supervisor or
themselves.
Seminars & Workshops
Conflict resolution and
management, emotional well being, stress reduction, preventing sexual harassment, and
interpersonal skills workshops are just some of the classes that can be taught at brown
bag lunches or other established venues. Seminars with family themes are available,
lending themselves to invite spouses to an informal gathering or wine and hors
doeurves hour. Most seminars can be done by "Players from the Couch"
described below.

"Players From The
Couch" is an optional theatrical presentation of seminar topics where managers and
employees can smile at their weaknesses and affirm their strengths.
These presentations include
all of the didactic components of our standard presentations.
Topics can be customized and
the role plays can include company personnel.
These role plays provide a
"slice of life" which is entertaining while highly instructive. |
